Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the Month End Close, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.  This is a unique opportunity join a rapidly growing company led by a seasoned team with a strong track record of success

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accounts Payable Receive all incoming invoices, match invoices to Purchase Orders, route for approvals, enter into accounting system, prepare weekly accounts payable listing, identify vendors for payment, insure timely accurate payment of vendor invoices
  • Accounts Receivable Manage the company’s invoicing process to its customers, insure timely billing and collections processing
  • Prepare cash transfer requests, reconcile cash accounts and route checks for signature
  • Maintain Customer and Vendor Files
  • Help with the audit process
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Revenue Recognition
    • Analyze contracts with customers, establish and maintain a process to monitor and report revenue according to GAAP. Insure accuracy and timeliness of reporting revenue
    • Manage and reconcile add deferred revenue subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger monthly
  • Manage the month end close process, provide monthly Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP

  • Detail Oriented
  • Analytical
  • 2 years plus of previous accounting manager level experience
  • BA degree preferably in accounting
  • QuickBooks accounting system experience
  • Outstanding PC skills with Word and Excel
  • Previous experience with Sales Force.com
  • Previous experience with on line expense management systems
