App/Cloud Support Manager (Accenture LLP; San Francisco, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of App/Cloud Support Manager in San Francisco, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

+ Provide end-to-end production monitoring of enterprise wide Data Warehouse Application in Oracle Exadata platform and align to underlying Database administration including periodical application backend upgrades.

+ Implement and administer Data Warehouse application solutions, Cluster databases, and Disaster recovery Databases administration in Oracle Exadata Database platform.

+ Perform project management including, planning, resourcing, budget estimation and stakeholder reporting.

+ Conduct cloud migration and production deployment.

+ Manage Databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform and oversee periodical disaster recovery tests for the application availability.

+ Diagnose performance tuning and query tuning on Oracle Exadata database platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Platform (OCI).

+ Modernize and automate manual work with PowerShell by creating playbooks to reduce manual intervention and errors.

+ Perform Linux architecture and System Administration aligning to Database needs.

+ Assign tasks to team members based on analysis of strategic importance, tasks outstanding, and upcoming deadlines, and provide periodic status reporting to project leadership.

+ Provide project and organizational reporting on the progression of the project and appraise leadership on any identifiable project risks and/or issues.

+ Set goals and objectives for team members, recommend and provide feedback and trainings, and participate in yearly performance reviews.


Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

+ Utilizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform and Oracle Exadata platform to implement data warehouse applications;

+ Utilizing Database security, encryption, data masking, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM);

+ Utilizing Oracle Database with RAC, Exadata with Unix and Linux Administration;

+ Utilizing Database Performance tuning and troubleshooting;

+ Installation of Oracle RAC and performing upgrades and database migrations in Oracle Exadata Platform;

+ Planning and supporting Database upgrades, patches, database reorganization, server migration, and data migration;

+ Implementation of Database High Availability applications including Data Guard, backup, and recovery; and

+ Driving key architectural and design decisions.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
