Job Description:

Accenture LLP seeks an Application Development Manager in Austin, TX to coordinate with Service Delivery Operation Lead, Business Support Team, and Maintenance and Operations Team in providing timely resolution of incident and problem tickets. S/he will perform the following duties: coordinate service availability as defined in the Service Catalog and prevailing SLAs; review issues and complaints related to application system; perform root cause analysis and appropriate action items; log, evaluate, prioritize, and forward requests to Maintenance and Operations Team; coordinate with Design Team and Business Support Team on problem tickets; track and report progress on requests to client; manage and coordinate dead-stop production incidents with one-off data fixes or workarounds; work with Maintenance and Operations Build Team in providing resolution and long-term fix to minimize dead-stop incidents; perform merging, coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to client system related to enhancements and change requests; assist colleagues and users with solving computer and program related malfunctions; assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project resources; monitor/track project milestones and deliverables; prepare project status reports and review and maintain project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Telecommuting is permitted.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelors degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the IT industry including the following professional experience: 5 years -developing, designing, and maintaining technologies, functional and technical programming standards, and system specifications and interfaces related to Java/J2EE; 5 years developing, designing, and maintaining technologies and system specifications related to Web Service Integration and SQL; 5 years performing Application Development and Maintenance Delivery using Oracle Weblogic, Java/J2EE Integration, Weblogic Portal, Oracle BPM, Gitlab, Oracle PL/SQL, and Eclipse; 4 years planning work and capacity and managing resources, delivery, and cost in a Program and Project Management context; 4 years managing resolution for development phase defects using RTC (Rational Team Concert); and 4 years managing resolution for production defects using ServiceNow.
