Job Description:

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Minneapolis, MN to work closely with Client IT and Client Business stakeholders on a bi-weekly basis to understand their Reporting requirements. S/he will perform the following duties: leverage prior experiences and knowledge to define reference architectures, technology trends and implementation based on technology stack roadmap; analyze and provide technical advisory role while architecting interfaces and integrations solution for complex eco-system;; manage User Acceptance test schedule and provide update to Client leadership team; define and drive both Technical and Functional Cut-over activities for major releases; co-ordinate within multiple team across different locations to deliver on-time within budget; manage onshore/offshore delivery teams using Agile methodology; review Functional specification and Technical solution; responsible for approving data extraction changes in SAP HANA, Business Intelligence, Business Warehouse for SAP ERP function modules, Business Object Data Services / System Landscape Transformation extraction; Azure Cloud, Snowflake develop complex data warehouse models in SAP High-Performance Analytic Appliance, Azure Analysis Services models, Snowflake Schemas and supervise teams technical objects development; resolve critical production issues on priority based on service level agreements; develop and deploy Cloud applications such as Microsoft Azure to deliver customer insights for business to make informed decisions; define test plans and test scenarios in conjunction with new technical design for doing functional and business validation; monitor system performance and guide teams to resolve critical issues after deployment phase to minimize system downtime caused by either new implementations or upgrades; monitor SAP support pack release strategy and advice on the error corrections and upgrades; collaborate with BASIS, Security and Infrastructure teams as and when needed; provide solutions for application break fixes and work with SAP to resolve technical issues in system by raising/managing OSS Messages; identify opportunities to optimize SAP HANA system for space utilization, query optimization, and SLT optimization; responsible for performance tuning of BW on HANA systems utilizing SAP best practices.; Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) automation, implementation of intelligent Reporting and Analytics, manage the client engagement relationship; provide the team with technical insight and expertise on standards for development and testing for implementation to ensure equality releases and continuous enhancements, mitigate risks, and other challenges during the project execution phase.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field. In lieu of bachelors degree, the employer deems that the suitable combination of education, training, or experience acceptable is 3 years of study towards any U.S. Bachelors degree plus 3 years of IT experience. This position also requires 5 years of experience as an Application Development Team Lead, Engineer, Consultant, or in a related IT position. Including the following experience 5 years of experience in SAP Business Intelligence, SAP HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance), SAP Business Objects, SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) and SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server to implement the rollout of technical and functional aspects of the SAP BI / HANA -Cloud solution; 2 years of experience in Creating Azure Data Lake (ADL), data integration and technical solutions for Azure Data Lake Analytics (ADLA), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL databases, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), configure Azure SQL database with Azure storage Explorer for providing analytics and reports for improving marketing strategies; 5 years of experience in complete SAP Business Warehouse technology in all aspects of Business Warehouse system to build data warehouse for set of enterprise data used for Business Analytics Reporting; 3 years of experience in data integration, data quality, data processing, batch jobs scheduling, pre-defined transformations and functional objects from BODS that allows modeling of ETL flows using SAP Business Objects Data Services Tool; 3 years of experience with SAP extractors, Database connections: Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and Java Database connectivity (JDBC), Multidimensional expressions (MDX), Business Intelligence Consumer Services (BICS), 3 years of experience in defining tables for real time replication from big data, SAP ABAP-based source systems to SAP HANA; and 2 years of experience with Agile project management to continuously evaluate time and cost of the project, velocity, burndown, burn up charts to measure project work.
