Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; San Francisco, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in San Francisco, CA to oversee the design data model and develop jobs (ETL) in Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) product/tool. He will perform the following duties: develop SSRS/PowerBI reports to present underlying business data; support ETL jobs and reports developed; work with the business in understanding the requirements and perform impact analysis for such changes in the system; perform end to end integration test to ensure that the systems are not impacted after making changes; coordinate with Microsoft for any upgrade and patches requirements; take necessary steps to keep the system compliant from the regulatory norms perspective; document all the changes and maintain audit trail to support any audits and compliance checks; provide production support during the hyper care period after deployment of releases; coordinate with the release management team for planning releases and supporting deployments; coordinate with service desk to prepare standard procedures for faster restoration of services and in addition, design, develop and test requirement in Workday cloud platform that sources the data from the ETL jobs.




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


This position requires at least a bachelors degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field. The position also requires 8 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Specialist, Application Development Analyst, Software Engineer or in a related IT position, including the following professional experience: 8 Years of experience with MicroSoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) ETL development/configuration to perform dimensional modeling, identifying facts and dimensions, physical and logical data modeling using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS); 2 Years of experience with Workday in designing and developing core integrations; 5 Years of experience in developing reports and data cubes in reporting engine technologies such as MSBI/PowerBI to provide better factual insights to business for decision making; 5 years of experience in life science industry experience to bring together strategy and technology to improve clinical, safety and business operations; and 8 years of experience in incident management, problem management and release management to enable organizations to maximize business value from the use of information technology.
