Job Description

Provide proactive, end-to-end pursuit management and sales process expertise throughout the sales cycle (from deal qualification to close), ensuring a targeted proposition, effective collaboration, business development effectiveness, and internal compliance for public sector opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

+ Leads the end-to-end sales program management of a pursuit and provides expert guidance on a deal throughout the full sales lifecycle

+ Brings expertise in navigating large, complex deals through the sales process and identification of key elements required for successful deal pursuits.

+ Provides independent confirmation that the steps and elements of a pursuit leverage best practices and are aimed toward a win

+ Drives development & management across various workstreams, including qualification, proposal development, pricing, competitive intelligence, solutioning, and legal/contract management

+ Facilitates collaborative decision making using real-time reporting of progress and open communication across Accenture and client stakeholders to ensure mutual alignment and momentum to close

+ Develops consistent cadence and communications across deal teams

+ Optimizes use of business development funds and drives compliance with Accentures sales processes

+ Advises Pursuit Services team and other parties of any lessons learned or insights gathered

+ Key sales service areas may include: qualification, win strategy development, pursuit mobilization, BD planning and management, review and approval management, client support services, and pursuit close-out

+ Must support/mirror working hours for the supported Market Unit or other business area

+ Must be flexible with work hours according to business needs (e.g., when interaction/conference calls with team members in other time zones is required, at mid-month and month-end peak activity periods, when a critical issue requires immediate resolution, or when covering for a colleague in another area)

+ Must have good internet connectivity and distraction-free environment for working at home, in accordance with local guidelines

+ May be occasionally required to travel domestically or internationally

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with fundamentals of project management or project-based work (organizing multiple moving pieces to meet deadlines)

+ Experience with sales fundamentals and high-level familiarity with concepts such as win probability, competitive positioning, client relationship strategy

Professional Skills:

+ English language fluency (oral and written)

+ Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

+ Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Desire to work on Public Service campaigns

+ Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

+ Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
