Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


The Books Library Support Team was founded based on Googles vision of digitizing books around the world and giving access to anyone, anywhere. The teams core goal is to provide excellent user experience by resolving user issues related to the Google Books and Libraries platform.


Overseeing day-to-day delivery functions of BLS
Remove blockers and facilitate efficient workflows for other team members
Become SME/Go-to point of contact for all things related to the BLS support team
Conduct deep-dives and root cause analysis to identify and resolve major pain points
Track and report team productivity metrics, SLA/SLOs
Conduct Trainings and oversee ongoing improvement efforts
Engage stakeholders and engineering team to bring forward process improvements and tooling recommendations

Basic Qualifications

Experience managing teams and delivery schedules to meet deadlines and productivity goals
Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn and understand new tools and platforms
Must have demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills in order to solve real world business problems
Customer service oriented and comfortable interacting with all levels of BLS stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify trends, understand root causes, and put forward recommendations to improved team processes
