Clinical Innovation senior professionals develop and deliver business solutions for theClinical Innovation business services within Health for Payer clients, which includes, however is not limited to, Utilization Management, Care Management, Care Coordination, Disease and Wellness Management, Risk and Quality, Interoperability, and Clinical System Implementation.A professional at this position and level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

+ Leads business development of sales strategies, with existing and new clients, through the end-to-end sales pursuit process including (but not limited to) the development of sales/offering materials, responses to RFPs (request for proposal), developing client proposals, presenting and refining proposals with clients, etc.

+ Leads flawless delivery of consulting projects. Excels at project delivery discipline, bringing rigor and attention to detail to deliver projects on time and on budget

+ Manages teams to produce impeccable project deliverables creating real client value to every client on every project such as, but not limited to operating models, project plans, process maps, implementation plans, roadmaps, prioritization matrices, capability assessments, data-driven analysis, and process improvements

+ Identifies, assesses, and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

+ Manages client relationships during project delivery and cultivates relationships pre/post-delivery at senior levels with the client

+ Uses a data-driven approach identifying and delivering client value/opportunities within the Clinical Innovation practice and the value associated with them

+ Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments to manage scope in accordance with the project contract objectives, timeline, budget, terms, and deliverables

+ Identifies the need for an alternate approach and interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on a change in original scope/plan

+ Seeks out areas where Clinical Innovation services can drive client value, establish/extend Accentures presence, and tests those ideas with the client, eventually moving successful tests to a sales pursuit Accenture leadership

+ Can articulate client value of undertaking Clinical Innovation projects

+ Collaborates with senior management to set the strategic direction when establishing near term goals and escalates challenges/risks appropriately to avoid client/project delays/roadblocks

+ Manages and inspires large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts at a client and/or within Accenture.

+ Designs and implements business changes that drive industry specific, function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on tasks relating to people and process.

+ Capable of delivering consulting programs in the Clinical Innovation space that have overlap between functional and technical

+ Identifies educational needs for themselves and their teams when knowledge and skill gaps exist and executes plans to solve for any gaps

+ Swiftly and effectively manages the individual performance of project team members

+ Self-motivating, adaptable, able to prioritize and able to inspire and motivate othersDevelop, coach, and mentor practice resources to drive growth and career progression

+ Contributes to the creation of thought capital that fuels the growth of the practice and its relevance to clients




Job Description:


Clinical Innovation professionals develop and deliver business solutions for the Clinical Operations business service within Health; which includes, however is not limited to, Care Management and Care Variation. A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:



+ Supports the development of sales strategies, with existing and new clients, to identify areas where Clinical Operations services can drive client value and establish / extend Accentures presence.


+ Uses a data-driven approach during the sales process to identify opportunities within the Clinical Operations practice and the value associated with them.


+ Is able to articulate the value of undertaking Clinical Operations projects as a top C-Suite priority; this is to be done on the sales side as well as throughout implementation.


+ Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.


+ Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.


+ Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.


+ Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.


+ Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.



The Clinical Utilization Management Manager will be responsible for Design and implement business changes that drive industry specific, function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on task relating to people and process. Payer focused individual capable of delivering data driven consulting programs in the Clinical Innovation space


Responsibilities include:

+ An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner

+ Experience eliciting high-level business requirements and creating detailed functional specs and other documentation, such as requirement traceability matrices, work-flow diagrams, and use-cases

+ The ability to develop creative and breakthrough solutions

+ A desire to deliver to a high standard in a suitable timeframe

+ Ability to travel up to 100% is required

+ Strong interpersonal, team building, organizational and motivational skills

+ Experience working through organizational change, with a demonstrated record of accomplishment of continuing responsibilities, creativity, and innovation, including evidence of solution design

+ Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of information

+ An awareness of key methodologies approaches and market trends in the industry and an ability to apply these to the project to create client value

+ An ability to identify the root causes of issues by analyzing patterns and trends






Basic Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ Minimum of 5 years of Consulting experience that includes payer-based delivery on team-based projects

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience with Utilization Management and/or Care Management/Coordination

+ Minimum of 5 years exposure to clinical systems and/or clinical data analytics

+ Fluency with Microsoft Office (excel, word, PowerPoint)




Preferred Skills:

+ Advanced degree

+ Clinical experience, certification, or license

+ Data visualization software skills, such as: Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau

+ Experience analyzing large, disparate data sets
