The Cloud Analytics Consultant provides consultative Business and System Integration services to help clients implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate understands and translates customer needs into business and technology solutions via the analysis, design and/or development of best practice business changes.





Job Description:





In this role, the Cloud Analytics Consultant will:



+ Advise technical clients on cloud-enabled data and analytics transformation agendas and architectures.


+ Assist in the creation of the value case for the client business challenges that would most benefit from data analytics. Work with the client in defining, quantifying, and articulating the value case for utilizing analytics to drive value.


+ Provide key input into the development of a roadmap and approach enabling the client to implement a data and analytics platform.


+ Be disciplined in business-management; adaptable to a culture of accountability; build a strong and active business network.





Basic Qualifications



+ Minimum of 1 years of data modeling, visualization, and analytics experience.


+ Minimum of 1 years of data work on a cloud platform; Azure, AWS, or GCP.


+ Minimum of 2 years of client-facing consulting experience



Preferred Qualifications



+ Prior experience in educating and advising client director level executives on modern data and analytics architectures with an emphasis on data modeling and visualization patterns and tools.


+ Successful management of a scope of work as part of a larger complex data analytics programs.


+ Experience working with Products industry clients (Automotive, Industrial, Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel and Transportation, Life Sciences)


+ Cloud certification by Microsoft, Google, or AWS.


+ Good working knowledge of Kafka, mapR, Apache Spark, Drill, nodeJS, or similar tools.


+ Agile certification

+ Ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment


+ Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment


+ Desire to work in an information systems environment


+ Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills


+ Excellent leadership and management skills



It is currently our objective to assign our people to work near where they live. However, given the nature of our business and our need to serve clients, our employees must be able to travel when needed. This role requires flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients up to 100% (typically Monday through Thursday).
