Corporate Functions Marketing + Communications



As part of this team, youll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. Youll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.



YOUR ROLE: Cloud First Domain Marketing & Campaigns



Position Summary:
Accenture Technology Marketing + Communications is responsible for developing and managing an integrated marketing strategy to help grow Accentures Technology business around the world.
Cloud First Marketing +Communications, which is part of our Technology M+C team, is responsible for developing and managing an integrated marketing strategy focused on extending the companys leadership in cloud with Accentures ecosystem partners and through investments in deep industry capabilities and solutions, cloud acquisitions and talent. Accenture Cloud First is a newly formed, multi-service group with a $3 billion investment over three years aimed at helping clients across all industries rapidly become cloud first businesses and accelerate their digital transformation. The Marketing + Communications team is responsible for imagining, spearheading and executing campaigns and programs that help create profitable growth and enhance our position as one of the worlds leading technology companies. We are looking for a creative, content marketing and communications professional who can effectively influence and collaborate across Accenture. You must not only quickly understand, analyze and communicate technology innovations and trends, but be inspired by working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.



Position Description:
Working as part of the Accenture Technology Marketing + Communications team (M+C), the person in this leadership position will shape and communicate Accentures Cloud, Infrastructure and Engineering services aligned to the business strategy, with strong, differentiated messaging and programmatic execution. The goal is to position our market-leading services, build talent and support our sales and revenue growth in the Cloud First technology domains of Infrastructure, Software Engineering, Data and Edge Computing, among others. The individual will report to the global Cloud First marketing lead and will work closely with the core Accenture Cloud First marketing team, media relations, analyst relations, business stakeholders and creative agencies. The role will also help drive marketing in other areas of Technology as needed to support the companys key growth priorities across industries and geographies. The role will encompass:





+ Storytelling and strategy Work with leadership to shape Accentures cloud narrative in support of our bold ambition to lead the cloud services market. Work with business leaders to effectively communicate why Accenture is best positioned to help clients build a modern, secure, networked technology foundation; why its needed to become a cloud-first businesses; and, why they need to build deeply specialized tech talent to capitalize on cloud's many unique capabilities.



+ Campaigns Work with M+C and business leadership to develop and rollout cloud and other growth priority marketing and sales campaigns. Develop and execute a rolling plan to reach key audiences internally and externally. Develop campaign reports for leadership and the M+C community within Accenture.



+ Analyst relations - Oversee content and work for analyst inquiries and surveys, working with the analyst relations teams. Coordinate with business leaders and practitioners and the Analyst Relations team to ensure messaging and positioning are differentiated and compelling, in briefing decks and materials. Help prepare executive spokespeople for briefings.



+ Media - Shape our media and external communications agenda and narrative, working with the media relations team to ensure our communications place us at the forefront of the industry.



+ Acquisitions - Collaborate closely with business leaders and the M+C organization to support strategic acquisitions, including coordination of internal/external communications and announcements, development and execution of brand transition strategy, and other post-merger integration activities.



+ Leader-led communications Coordinate leader-led external communications, such as speaking opportunities, blogs and social media, for select spokespeople to drive Accentures positioning and elevate our voice in the market.



+ Talent agenda Develop a communications plan and key messages to convey our cloud talent strategy to clients, analysts and investors. Support communication of our talent development and learning agenda internally.







YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications





+ Bachelors degree required, prefer in marketing & communications, journalism or related



+ Minimum of 12+ years experience in marketing and communications; experience in corporate communications, people communications and message development and agency experience desired.

+ Experience managing marketing programs centered on technology, cloud or infrastructure. Knowledge of the enterprise technology, software or service market.



+ Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation, conflict management and executive stakeholder management skills.



+ Excellent Digital, Social Media and PowerPoint skills.





Professional Skills





+ Ability to provide deep and original thinking about complex issues and make them easily understood by a broad audience. Strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to multiple audiences.



+ Demonstrated ability to design, implement and measure multi-faceted marketing plans and programs.



+ Strong organization, program and time management and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects.



+ Bold creativity and a passion for new, futuristic technology trends and content, and ability to continuously learn.



+ Personal flexibility to work virtually, in the office (post COVID) or travel where and when required. Willingness to participate in virtual meetings outside of regular business hours to accommodate other time zones.



+ Sensitivity to the cultural variances across different countries.



+ Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian



+ Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
