Cloud Operations Architect Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Cloud Operations Architect Manager in Chicago, IL, and the job duties are as follows:

+ Build a strategy and architecture to manage sustainable cloud adaption process, budget, and scope.

+ Identify the best cloud options by architecting, interconnecting, and managing multi-cloud services and solutions to help the organization accomplish its strategic goals.

+ Develop solutions and manage implementation based on market and technology which impacts cloud adaption and functionality.

+ Create roadmaps based on the clouds capacity, efficiency, and ecosystem security.

+ Conduct risk assessment of cloud migration plan and share status report with management.

+ Work with cross-functional technical team to map out tools, utilities, databases, and applications on-premises with cloud native or custom services.

+ Implement operational plan for ongoing migration and maintenance of IT infrastructure.

+ Provide advice to enable stakeholders within the organization to understand end-to-end process and provide project status updates.

+ Respond to technical issues in a timely manner while focusing on best practices that need to be adopted by the operational team.


Must have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in architecting and designing Hybrid Cloud Network and Security. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

+ Utilizing NSX-T to build and manage VMWare Private Cloud solutions;

+ Deploying and managing automation of load balancers, firewalls, and VPN Gateway utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Python; and

+ Monitoring and auto-healing patch deployment utilizing Xymon, SolarWinds, and HPNA.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

+ Deploying and managing F5 Container Ingress Services (CIS), FortiGate Unified Threat Management (UTM), Cisco Firepower Threat Defence (FTD), and Pulse Secure utilizing REST API;

+ Designing and deploying hybrid-cloud connectivity utilizing Megaport VXC/MCR;

+ Configuring and managing dual stack application connectivity in Azure F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and FortiGate UTM;

+ Integrating and managing Azure Active Directory Single Sign-on (SSO) for Pulse Secure and Azure Native VPN Gateway with managed access;

+ Deploying multi-cloud data-lake setup with ETL integration; and

+ Integrating and deploying Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions utilizing Cloudflare and F5 WAF.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
