Job Description

The Collections Support Associate is responsible for meeting monthly business to business collection targets set by the client using written and verbal collections processes while protecting the clients relationship with the customer. This position interacts with senior managers, credit managers, account payable departments as well as other employees of various organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Meets monthly collection targets

+ Directs cash application through remittance advice and statements as required

+ Escalates issues in accordance with escalation policy

+ Assists in the preparation of management reports in line with clients and Accentures requirements

+ Attends client meetings to discuss debtor performance and address issues as required

+ Improves service deliverables to the client with innovative ideas

Job Requirement: US Citizenship

Basic Qualifications

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role

+ Minimum of 6 months of collections or accounts receivable experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelors degree

+ Experience in billing and collections preferably in a B2B environment

+ Working knowledge of banking procedures and payment application

+ Experience in MS Outlook and Excel including experience with pivot tables

Professional Skill Requirements

+ Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment

+ Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Desire to work in an information systems environment

+ Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
