Corporate Functions Marketing & Communications
As part of this team, youll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. Youll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

YOUR ROLE: Communications, Media and Technology U.S. Marketing Senior Manager

We are looking for a stellar contributor to focus on two elements within the Communications, Media and Technology Operating Group: 1) develop, execute and measure marketing initiatives among several client accounts in North America; and 2) drive broad marketing programs targeting our clients 3) actively participate in local market initiatives designed to support Accenture culture and growth strategy.

Communications, Media and Technology (CMT) is one of the most dynamic, fastest-growing industry programs at Accenture. The individual will be responsible for developing marketing programs to accelerate growth and to increase penetration in these segments and at clients like these.

While there will never be a typical day at Accenture, here is a look at some of your responsibilities:
Work closely with account teams and clients to develop innovative and impactful marketing programs designed to help win specific large projects
Create positioning strategies, messaging, events, and customized marketing programs focused on individual client organizations and large sales opportunities
Provide value-added input into concept development, budgeting, implementation and performance measurement of marketing programs
Define and track metrics to assess effectiveness of marketing programs
Manage resources and third-party service providers (e.g. approved agencies, designers, writers and media / PR agencies)
Work collaboratively with industry, segment, and business service offerings managing directors to support their business plans through creative and targeted marketing programs
Provide marketing support to several key Communications and High Tech accounts in North America
Design and drive marketing programs to deepen our relationships with clients
Grow industry specific sections on Accenture.com and all online/interactive marketing programming designed to drive engagement
Support priority offerings and business services related marketing programs by collaborating with subject matter experts to create thought leadership and tailored workshops
Develop and maintain all collateral materials and industry credentials
Plan and execute client events
Manage internal communications programs
Work closely with media relations team on key PR opportunities


YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Communications, Technology or related industries
Must be located in New York or San Francisco

Client-centric marketing, Campaign planning, Critical thinking/ business judgment, Event strategy and development: external, Executive positioning
Understanding and experience in the communications, high tech industries including familiarity with trends driving the industry and the impact of those trends on Accenture clients
Excellent written and oral communication skills- the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to both internal and external audiences
Knowledge of, passion and aptitude for digital marketing.
Proven ability to get things done both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Understanding of how to design and apply effective marketing programs for a given target market and situation
Able to influence executives through relationship building and executive-level presence.

Proven leadership skillsteam building, supervision, mentoring and managing of diverse and virtual teams to drive integration
Strong and deep overall business acumen and good knowledge of Accentures area of business and overall business strategy

Superior oral and written communications skills and presentation skills
Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet integrate appropriately with other areas within Marketing & Communications and other areas within Accenture
Passion for well-executed deliverables in support of Accenture business strategy
Superior negotiation, mediation and conflict management skills to resolve complex, high-risk, high-impact issues
Thrive on working in intense, deliverable-driven and deadline-driven environment
Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
