Job Description

Compensation Analytics, Insights and Tools Associate Manager

Serves as process, systems and data analytics expert on the North America Compensation Team. Works with stakeholders internal and external to the North America compensation team to develop requirements, understand and identify internal system capabilities and functionality, and manage/develop applications. Analyzes, designs and/or develops best practice data management and analysis changes through the application of technology solutions. Maximizes the efficiency and effectiveness of the North America Compensation Team operations through the development of effective and easy-to-use tools and processes. Applies a broad set of analytical tools to recommend and implement improvements to team practices around data storage, manipulation, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities: This role includes some or all the following key responsibilities.

+ Tool Development/Maintenance: Generally supports the North America Compensation Team in its data analysis and maintenance efforts, as well as optimizing processes. Examples include: developing tools which includes developing requirements (waterfall and agile); Experience Qlikview, Qliksense, and other applications preferred; working with team members to determine whether a process can be further optimized by mapping the current state, identifying potential improvements, and then mapping the desired state.

+ Leads efforts to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components, applications/tools and processes.

+ Applies functional expertise in developing tools, processes, and solutions that support data management and analytics across the team.

+ Delivers quality functional applications/ solutions/tools and ensures technology solutions meet or exceed current and future business requirements.

+ Maps and/or analyzes as-is and to-be processes to define system/technology requirements.

+ Works with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements that translate into design specifications in preparation for new applications or current system improvements.

+ Develops strategic business insights and recommendations for improvements to business processes and tools.

+ Provides primary support for tool and process development and implementation.

+ Maintains applications according to SLAs.

+ Conducts project and issue management for tool/process/solution development, testing and implementation.

+ Provides next generation recommendations for process improvements to drive efficiency.

+ Applies sound change management principles when launching new or modified tools and processes.

+ Creates operational documentation for the new processes and tools.

+ Develops and implements testing plans.

+ Utilizes advanced software skills to develop effective applications. Software includes, but is not limited to, Qlikview, Qliksense, data warehouse (data lake), database , web-based tools, and PowerBI.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree (16 years)

+ A minimum of 5 years of analytic experience

+ A minimum of 3 years of Microsoft Excel experience including Office skills (including Vizio) Power Query, Data Model and Power Pivot, nested Ifs, Access, VBA for Applications, and PowerBI.

+ A minimum of 3 years of program/project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Vizio), and expert-level Power Query, Excel and Access (with VBA for applications).

+ Experience in building analyses based on large datasets using expert-level Excel and Access functions including pivots, if statements, index match and Vlookup, various If functions (sum, average, count), named ranges, data validation, etc.

+ Experience in managing projects which meet client expectations and mitigate any risks or issues

+ Project or workplan management experience

+ Work experience with a large corporate employer, leading consulting firm and/or emerging technology roles strongly preferred

+ Familiarity with statistical analysis approaches and tools

+ Working knowledge of Workday HCM

+ Experience working with globally located teams.
