North America Compensation Design & Strategic Initiatives

As an Accenture Total Rewards Manager, you will drive change by bringing significant expertise to the development of compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain employees in a competitive landscape. You will have an opportunity to bring your talent and curiosity to work while collaborating with key stakeholders in the planning, development, and implementation of compensation programs. In this position, you will develop and apply global and local frameworks linked to Accenture's total rewards strategy.

Job responsibilities

+ Collaborate with various stakeholders on the design of new or existing compensation programs to shape the North America compensation strategy and meet evolving business and talent needs.

+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with key HR leaders, openly discussing challenges, sharing feedback, and making recommendations for improvement.

+ Supervise a team of Compensation associate managers and specialists.

+ Apply frameworks and methodologies that align with the business strategy and compensation vision.

+ Actively seek emerging compensation market and industry-specific trends and apply insights in the development of best in class programs.

+ Use salary survey data to evaluate jobs for internal equity and external competitiveness.

+ Prepare and review compensation communications for employees, providing recommendations as needed.

+ Write and edit Compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures for key stakeholders.

+ Partner with Compensation leadership to improve existing programs, processes, and tools.

+ Use storytelling to effectively explain data and insights in Compensation meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree (16 years)

+ A minimum of 5 years of compensation experience

+ A minimum of 2 years of comp strategy and design experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Masters Degree

+ Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

+ Strong compensation expertise in the areas of merit pay programs, incentive and bonus plans, job evaluation, and salary survey use & methodology

+ Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively

+ Familiarity with laws and legislation impacting compensation decisions

+ Adept at influencing and developing solutions through strong relationships, transparent communication, expertise, and data

+ Experience managing many stakeholders in a matrixed organization

+ Experience leading the work of others in a virtual environment

+ Process, project or workplan management experience

+ Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, data analytics skills

+ Strong focus on data privacy and confidentiality

+ Minimum of 8 years in total rewards/compensation role w

+ Minimum of 2-3 years in managing people

+ Work experience with a large corporate employer, leading consulting firm and/or emerging technology roles strongly preferred

+ Familiarity with statistical analysis approaches and tools

+ Working knowledge of Workday HCM

+ Experience working with globally located teams.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex information simply and effectively

+ Self-starter with ability to develop, present. and implement ideas that demonstrate continuous improvement

+ Ability to analyze complex problems and propose and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions

+ Willingness to work evenings / weekends during busy periods.

+ Ability to work in a virtual environment

+ Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

+ Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
