Position Title: Compensation Market Intelligence Manager

As a Compensation Market Intelligence Manager, you will drive change by bringing significant expertise to the development of compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain employees in a competitive landscape. You will have an opportunity to bring your talent and curiosity to work while collaborating with key stakeholders in the planning, development, and implementation of compensation programs. In this position, will take the lead in managing the day to day market intelligence processes in North America.

True subject matter expert with a focus on understanding market trends and competitor pay practices.

Apply frameworks and methodologies that align with the business strategy and compensation vision.

Work with the tools and controls that support the Market Intelligence process understand them and provide inputs and insights into process improvements.

Consult, review and analyze market data and provide key findings and insights.

Attend job matching and results meetings with survey vendors.

Keep a pulse on local industry market trends through research and participation in professional conferences and forums.

Regularly share market insights with the broader North America Compensation team and as needed with HR Partners and business leaders.

Develop ways to leverage internal and external data to predict risks and support proactive business decisions through predictive analytics.

Supervise a team of professionals to ensure deliverables are met by deadlines, including: survey submissions, target market comparison analysis, market data summaries, salary range reviews, campus rates, apprentice program, geo index review, aging factors, etc.

Lead efforts to support ad hoc market intelligence analysis requests, including liaising with local and global leadership teams.

Standardize survey submission process to build efficiencies and ensure consistent data.

Coordinate submission of various surveys including flash surveys.

Use storytelling to effectively explain data and insights in Compensation meetings.

Collaborate with various stakeholders on the design of new or existing compensation programs to shape the North America compensation strategy and meet evolving business and talent needs.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key HR leaders, openly discussing challenges, sharing feedback, and making recommendations for improvement.

Partner with Compensation leadership to improve existing programs, processes, and tools.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree (16 years) A minimum of 5 Years of compensation or total rewards experience, including market intelligence

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, data analytics skills Ability to analyze complex problems and propose and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions Familiarity with laws and legislation impacting compensation decisions Adept at influencing and developing solutions through strong relationships, transparent communication, expertise, and data Experience managing many stakeholders in a matrixed organization Experience leading the work of others in a virtual environment Process, project or workplan management experience Strong focus on data privacy and confidentiality Ability to take responsibility for delivering professional high-quality work to the deadline Proven ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift quickly Minimum of 8 years in total rewards/compensation role Minimum of 2-3 years in managing people Work experience with leading HR consulting firm, a large corporate employer, and/or high tech company strongly preferred Familiarity with statistical analysis approaches and tools Working knowledge of Workday HCM
