Contract Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Contract Manager in Chicago, IL, and the job duties are as follows:





+ Liaise with account leadership, client, commercial and business stakeholders to understand client contract needs and priorities, and support account strategy, objectives, and opportunities.


+ Manage, mentor, and develop contract management supporting team members taking responsibility for all performance management activities.


+ Responsible for identification, escalation and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues working with leadership to ensure the best outcome for all parties.


+ Support pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, including contract drafting support.


+ Build trusted relationships with internal and external clients.


+ Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.


+ Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.


+ Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.







BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


Must have a bachelors degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Contract Management.




Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:



+ Managing large, complex projects working with a large cross-border team is responsible for contract compliance and risk mitigation with clients in the Utilities and Resources industry;


+ Providing support for compliance with tax policy, trade compliance policy, and data privacy policy;


+ Collaborating and communicating with client executives at all levels of the organization and supporting discussions to influence key commercial and contracting decisions;


+ Reviewing and negotiating commercial contracting regulations and principles;


+ Subcontracting work with third parties to ensure no gaps in risk; and


+ Drafting client and subcontractors commercial contracting terms and conditions.





Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
