Job Description





Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Transactions Manager understands the real estate strategy set out by the CRE Business Partner and develops and implements the related real estate transaction plans that aligns with that strategy. This role is part of a team supporting the real estate transactions across the NA businesses, ensuring adherence to real estate policy and procedures.





Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in the management of real estate portfolio plan for Canada, in conjunction with geographic and business unit leadership

+ Define transactions in the context of the broader workplace strategy and principles, presenting information such that our leadership can make decisions based on business impact

+ Assist with preparation and review of all business case documentation related to real estate acquisition and disposition in assigned geographic area; ensure adherence to real estate policy and procedures (AP20, AP3, AP940 and other Policies as appropriate) are followed; deal with security packages required by landlords to guarantee lease arrangements

+ Assist in the management of leases to ensure all critical contract dates are observed and dealt with in sufficient time

+ Provide senior management with timely information regarding the real estate portfolio and current transaction activity

+ Advise each location on matters relating to the observance of lease contract conditions

Basic Qualifications






Educational Level: High School Diploma/GED (11 years)


Educational Qualification: Must have School Diploma, good to have Undergraduate Degree; Bachelors degree in real estate, business or relevant field





Preferred Qualifications



+ 5+ years experience in providing complex transaction management solutions for corporate real estate clients


+ Understands how to review, analyze and interpret real estate financial analysis and scenario planning to enable informed decisions


+ Ability to manage multiple projects and design teams at a time, handling conflicting priorities with aggregate budgets more than $100mm;


+ Strong skills in the following areas: business management, human relations, financial analysis, budgeting, relationship building, time management, planning and organizing, written and verbal communications


+ Excellent negotiating skills

+ Proven ability to efficiently manage a large volume of transactions

+ Strong executive presence

+ Able to present alternatives and proposed solutions

+ Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

+ Ability to apply judgment to broaden influence

+ Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in professional setting; either military or civilian
