What is the Accenture Apprenticeship Program? The program provides mentorship, formal learning, on-the-job training, and on-going coaching to help build skills with the opportunity to advance into a career with Accenture. Accenture is seeking candidates without a 4-year college degree who are curious, creative, detail oriented and collaborative.




The Role


The Customer Support Agent is a strong problem solver and an excellent communicator. They can listen carefully to customer questions and resolve their concerns using provided tools and resources. This role will provide support to our clients call center by providing phone support and taking the following types of actions:



+ Resolving device issues using troubleshooting techniques and providing clear and concise information.


+ Help drive sales by offering products and services that will improve the customers experience.


+ Reviewing account information and answering questions about billing or services.





While this role is currently authorized to work from home, there may be times when Knoxville-based Customer Support Apprentice will be required to be in the office. These days will be communicated with as much advance notice as possible and may include activities such as team meetings, job coaching, training, or production activities. You will be required to be in the office for the initial 7 weeks of project training.




As this is primarily a Work from Home model, the Customer Support Apprentice will need to meet all home office requirements as described below.


Home Office Requirements:


Internet service with a direct connection to a cable or fiber modem and capable of at least 150mbps plan minimum. Wireless connections, satellite or DSL are not acceptable.




A workspace with limited distractions and minimal background noise.


Adequate heating and lighting for the workspace.




The candidate may be responsible for physically picking up and dropping off technology equipment issued to them by Accenture.




The candidate accepts full responsibility to ensure their own home networking equipment and Internet Service Provider (ISP) will perform to the required


standards and with minimal disruption or issues.




Hours & Shifts:


Shifts will be anytime between 8 am-9 pm Eastern. Shifts are 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.




Must be open to working nights, weekends, and holidays as the call center is open 7 days per week.

Individuals are provided with paid training.

Basic Qualifications


High School Diploma or equivalent




Professional Qualifications


Strong communication skills


Interest in working in a call center environment


Interest in learning new technologies


Ability to meet home office requirements


Willingness to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays




Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
