Database Admin Manager (Accenture LLP; Sacramento, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Database Admin Manager in Sacramento, CA to develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. S/he will perform the following duties: manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope; develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components; create operational documentation for the application; provide primary support for installation of application releases into production; maintain applications according to SLAs; work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, implement major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications implement methods and procedures set by management; work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


This position requires at least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering (any) or related IT field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Team Lead, Software Engineer or related IT positions including the following professional experience: 2 years of experience in setting up, monitoring and automating DevOps implementations as part of Agile Development; 2 years of experience in conducting automation assessments; 5 years experience in conducting DevOps tool analysis, and making recommendation and tool selection such as Github, Jenkins, Golden Gate, SonarQube; 2 years of experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and approaches; 5 years of experience in mobilizing automation projects; 5 years of experience in overseeing teams.




This position requires domestic travel approximately 20% of an average work week. Telecommuting is permitted; needs to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
