Job Description


The Duck Creek Sr. Claims Developer will have expertise with .Net, SQL and P&C Insurance Claims.






A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

+ Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

+ Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.

+ Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.

+ Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

+ Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.

+ Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.

+ Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.








Basic Qualifications




+ A minimum of three years of professional Duck Creek Claims development experience


+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).




Preferred Qualifications




+ Hands on experience with C#, SQL, Visual Studio, Microsoft Foundation technologies, Windows Server 2003/2008 administration and configuration, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX.


+ Experience in XML Web Services, WCF.


+ Experience/knowledge of P&C Insurance software applications.


+ Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software.


+ Experience with .Net Solutions and SQL and relational database design.


+ Experience with XML and XSL Experience with systems integration (Policy, Billing, Claims, Reinsurance, third-party systems).


+ Experience with implementation of Duck Creek Example Platform solutions for Duck Creek Claims and integration with Policy Admin.


+ Experience in Microsoft SSIS Reporting a plus.


+ Additional certification is a plus.


+ Experience in Stored Procedure a plus.
