The responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include the listed duties and others that may be advised:



+ Interact with product owners to identify user stories with functional and system requirements


+ Understand basic system technologies as they relate to the system functionality


+ Communicate issues to appropriate parties and coordinate with external teams to mitigate potential issues/plan for impending deadlines


+ Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers and other cross-functional teams to analyze information needs and functional requirements, and communicate requirements to development teams


+ Demonstrate developed functionality and application features Support efforts to test the solution for accessibility and usability compliance









Basic Skills & Qualifications:





+ 3+ years of professional experience to include Compliance/Accessibility testing and practiced skills with general software testing (Functional, Regression and Integration)


+ Bachelor's degree in a related field


+ Leadership skills in documenting, presenting and liaising with different organizational groups and levels and/or clients


+ Must be able to become certified 508 trusted tester after joining


Preferred Skills & Qualifications:



+ Proven ability to work independently and as a team member


+ Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills


+ Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills


+ Ability to learn very quickly and share knowledge with other team members


+ Strong problem solving skills, ability to multi-task, organized, ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and very detail oriented


+ 2 years of experience and practiced skills with 508 (required certification after joining)




Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:




+ Knowledge of 508 accessibility testing techniques and remediation tools


+ Experience with 508 tools such as JAWS, PAW, WAT, Ferret, Narrator, or Common Look (or others)


+ Experience working with Federal Government projects


+ Experience with Agile delivery


+ Experience with automation test tools such as Selenium (Java)




An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for
this role.
