In this role, you will:

+ Perform vulnerability scans and security testing on public-facing, Cloud-hosted web and mobile applications using Burpsuite Pro, other dynamic code analysis tools, and manual testing.

+ Review the scan and test results to provide analysis, validation and remediation steps.

+ Classify and prioritize the risk of new vulnerabilities and flaws according to the specifics of the environment's risk level, and assess the impacts of internal and external threats.

+ Deploy, configure and run tools to aide in assessing the security of the applications in dev, test and production environments.

+ Lead efforts to establish and improve secure SDLC activities and identify tools to integrate in the SDLC to aid in evaluating the security of the applications.

+ Assist security engineering team in configuring and deploying web application firewalls to protect applications and mitigate security flaws









Basic Skills & Qualifications:



+ 3 years experience deploying, configuring, and/ or running application security tools (i.e. Burp Suite Pro, HP Fortify, AppSCAN (IBM), WebInspect (HP) ) to identify security flaws in web and mobile applications


+ 3+ years experience with full vulnerability management process (i.e Discover, Assess, Report, Remediate, Verify)


+ 3+ years experience implementing secure SDLC practices, including integrating security tools into SDLC


+ Experience in Team Lead positions or SME positions


+ BS Degree or 8 + years related experience



Preferred Skills & Qualifications:




+ Experience with vulnerability assessment in AWS cloud infrastructures


+ Experience with Linux Operating System


+ Experience with Ansible


+ Experience with SonarQube



An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
