Serve as the Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Analyst of information systems undergoing authorization. This person supports overall implementation of its authorization process, to include review and remediation activities for all associated supporting artifacts and evidentiary matter (policies, procedures, etc.). Must posses extensive experience assessing NIST 800-53 controls and understanding of how the security controls identified apply to the process of assessing and authorizing large organization IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, large and small enclaves, AIS applications and outsourced IT processes. Will develop POA&Ms for non-compliant applicable security controls and determines the security risk impact to the systems current or future authorization.





Additional Responsibilities Include:

Assists with defining security objectives and system-level performance requirements.

Assists in the configuration of secure systems, tests security products/systems to detect computer and information security weaknesses.

Coordinates the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports.

Coordinates the periodic review of each systems A&A package and monitors corrective actions until all actions are closed.

Supports the development of integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.

Assists the establishment of strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.







Basic Skills & Qualifications:




+ 5+ years of Relevant Cybersecurity Work Experience


+ 3+ years of relevant C&A/A&A experience; Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST 800-53 assessment experience


+ DOD 8570.01 IAM level III: (CISSP or CompTIA CASP, etc)


+ Computing Environment (CE) Certifications (i.e. ACAS, HBSS Admin, HBSS ADV, etc.)


+ US Citizen-No Dual Citizenship


Preferred Skills & Qualifications:



+ Bachelor's Degree


+ Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) experience



An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
