As a DevOps Engineer you will help with accelerating our
deployments with continuous monitoring and configuration management tools.
These tools will be used to deploy new modules or upgrades and complete fixes
within the lifecycle for software development within a cloud based platform.
The candidate will show proficiency with open source tools, automation, and
cloud services to implement enterprise DevOps solutions including automation
of cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker
Swarm), CI/CD pipelines (build, deploy, testing), and more.









You will add new features while improving efficiency, reliability,
and scalability to address client needs.











Requirements: What are we looking for?



+ 1
year experience with the design, build, implementation of automation tools
such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet



+ Custom
tooling is also acceptable here if no packaged solution has been used in
prior work experience



+ 2
years experience with scripting languages including Python, Perl,
Unix/Linux Shell (bash, csh, other) or PowerShell


+ 1
year experience operating, monitoring and reporting on batch and/or
transactional systems and the underlying infrastructure


+ 1
year of hands on experience with either virtualization technologies
(VMWare, HyperV) and/or container technologies (Docker, Mesos) and/or
cloud technologies (OpenStack, AWS, Azure)


+ Demonstrated
ability to use SQL with relational databases


+ Proficiency
in leveraging CI/CD tools to automate deployment and testing


+ Experience
in agile methodologies and fast-paced DevOps environments


+ Proficiency
with the following tools or similar:



+ Git
and GitHub Source code management and version control systems. If you

This is an automation testing tool


+ Jenkins
Automation server with a plenty of plugins to develop CI/CD pipelines


+ Docker
This is a containerization platform


+ Kubernetes
This is a Container Orchestration tool


+ Puppet
- This is a configuration management and deployment tool


+ Nagios
This tool is good for Continuous Monitoring


+ Team
Foundation Server


+ Azure
DevOps




Preferred Qualifications:



+ 1
year of experience with the design, build, implementation of components on
AWS, Azure, or another public cloud architecture


+ Experience
with the design, build, implementation of application and infrastructure
performance monitoring


+ Experience
within an Agile release methodology


+ Strong
organizational skills and the ability to multitask


+ Ability
to design and develop CI/CD pipelines (build, deploy, testing), to support
full automation for the test and deployment phases of a project




An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
