The DevOps Engineer will need to have strong knowledge of DevOps tools and processes that enable configuration baseline management, CMDB Ownership. The candidate will ensure Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment controls and processes are followed for application code releases into non-production and production environments. Candidate should have strong experience implementing the appropriate change release management methodologies and processes. Candidate will be responsible for configuring DevOps processes and tools to support the application developers. Candidate should possess strong communication and reporting skills with emphasis on keeping release items on track and schedule.

Basic Skills & Qualifications:

+ Minimum of Bachelors degree required (in
Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field).

+ Minimum of 10 years of Information Technology

+ Experience with build-time dependency management
(Maven, Ivy).

+ Experience with static analysis tools,
functional test automation techniques, JUnit and other tools.

+ Experience with systems level configuration
management tools like Puppet or Chef.

+ Strong understanding of OWASP, SAML, Oauth SSL
and other security tools, technologies and guidelines.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

+ Experience in a UNIX environment and
specifically on a Linux platform.

+ Experience with J2EE-stack application servers
(i.e. WebLogic, Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat)

+ Experience in the development of scalable
enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, JSON, REST , XML, WSDL
and micro-services.

+ Working knowledge of service orchestration and
messaging technologies (Kafka).

+ Implement requirements of the API layer like
security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request
and response modifications etc. using Apigee.

+ Experience with Swagger Editor and YAML

+ Lead the technical planning and requirements
gathering phases to estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and
deliver cutting-edge solutions.

+ Identify emerging information technologies to be
assimilated, integrated and introduced within the client environment'

+ Knowledge of source control management systems
(i.e. Subversion, Git) and code branching/merging strategies

+ Strong hands on experience with one of the
programming languages like Java, Python, NodeJS.

+ Skilled problem solver with the desire and
proven ability to create innovative solutions.

+ Knowledge and experience in developing software
using Agile and DevSecOps practices.

* Please note the following when it comes to experience.

1. One year of related work experience is the equivalent of one year of education.

2. One year of education (Masters degree) is the equivalent of one year of related work experience.

3. Certification related to the technology is equivalent to two years of the experience/education requirement.

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for
this role.
