You are:

A risk-savvy and compliance-smart expert in the industry. You stay current with the latest cyber threats and help clients spot them before they happen. You work well across technology teams to implement the latest security frameworks and put security systems and processes in place. And, when it comes to creating IT risk assessments, you tackle the design and launch with ease.

The work:

+ Responsible for planning, developing and reviewing cybersecurity programs

+ Compose requisite documentation (security categorizations, risk assessments, contingency plans, security test & evaluation reports, vulnerability assessment reports, etc.).

+ Understand standards and requirements outlined by FISMA, NIST-800, RMF, FedRAMP

+ Map technical requirements, functionality, and capabilities to prescribed security controls, policies, and practices

Heres what you need:

+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

+ 1+ years of experience with the one or more of the following Federal Security frameworks: FedRAMP, FISMA, RMF, DIACAP and NIST SP 800 series and NIST SP 800-53

+ 1+ years of experience with the following tools: CSAM, XACTA, eMASS

+ Experience with Microsoft Office products particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

We are looking for Security professionals with varied years of experience in the Metro DC area that have engineered one or more of the following specialties:


Bonus points if:

+ You have experience with one or more of the

+ interpreting and
evaluating implementations of NIST 800-53 rev 4 security controls

+ supporting cloud
systems, preferably in support of FEDRAMP

+ Infrastructure,
Virtualization, and/or Operating System

+ developing Security
Assessment documentation

+ documenting NIST 800-53
security control compliance findings within Requirements such as: Traceability
Matrixes (RTMs) and Security Assessment Reports (SARs)

+ reviewing and
interpreting Vulnerability and Compliance scans, such as Tenable Nessus,Web
Inspect, and dbProtect

+ You have one or more of the following certifications:

+ Certified Authorization
Professional (CAP)

+ Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

+ Certified Information
Security Auditor (CISA)
