The Interface Architect's duties and responsibilities will include:




+ Create a high-level design of an end-to-end integration solution.


+ Define the flow of data between the applications that must be integrated, mapping business process activities to the applications that support them, and drafting a data object.


+ Interface analysis and design.


+ Establish connectivity with external partners.


+ Heavy customer interaction and cross-team management and coordination.


+ Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.


+ Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.


+ Identify resources required for each task.


+ Provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.






Basic Skills & Qualifications:





+ Bachelors Degree


+ Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal


+ 5+ years of experience in implementing healthcare interfaces and/or Health Care Operations and/or Clinical Care Delivery experience in Ambulatory Health Care; specifically to include one or more of the following:



+ 2+ years of experience with Cerner Electronic Health Records


+ 1+ year of experience with invoicing, billing and revenue cycles


+ 1+ year of experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) implementation and standards



+ Deep health integration skills required



Preferred Skills & Qualifications:




+ Health Information Exchange (HIE) experience and standards knowledge highly desired


+ Experience with interfaces to pharmacy, radiology and lab and supply chain


+ Familiar with Cerner FSI or interface engine configuration in a Cerner environment


+ Multi-solution EMR in complex health delivery system with diverse populations


+ Proven ability to pay close attention to detail


+ Able to work independently, while remaining aligned with the team message


+ EMR implementation experience highly desired




An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
