ccenture Federal has identified a need to expand its client reach, and has specifically identified the federal IT leadership ranks (CIO, CISO, CDO, etc.) as areas of growth. AFS has invested to create the CIO Agenda, a strategic initiative within the Technology Growth Platform (TGP). The Agenda is is designed to expand AFS footprint across key federal IT stakeholders by targeting a defined set of hot button issues that can be leveraged to generate pilot / tech wedge sales. These sales (anticipated as benchmarked portfolio reviews or efficiency plays) will provide a springboard for broader AFS client engagement. The CIO Agenda team is responsible for defining these plays, developing collateral, targeting specific clients / client teams, training and supporting those teams in Go-to-Market efforts, and ultimately delivering on specific opportunities.







In addition to the broader CIO Agenda, AFS has identified a requirement to support the expanded Security Services practice. This role, which is likely to overlap at times with target clients for the CIO Agenda, requires an individual with broad visibility across the federal Cyber market who can bring an informed perspective on AFS positioning and support the practice leads in defining a path for growth. This individual will play a role in defining / crafting opportunities, and positioning the team for successful capture, but will not be an active delivery resource for the practice area.







The SM hired into this role will be responsible for the following activities:







Lead and grow the CIO Agenda into a defined Horizontal practice





+ Define and execute the sales strategy for the CIO agenda, targeting select federal accounts, along with the target client teams



+ Develop market-leading sales collateral for building scale and awareness of CIO Agenda offerings within AFS and the federal market



+ Work with clients and client teams to successfully grow the CIO Agenda footprint in key accounts (through support for tech wedge / pilot sales and related implementations)



+ Understand and improve upon AFS competitive positioning to ensure we remain market leading and differentiated



+ Act as an SME in the CIO / Tech Governance space working with clients and client teams to originate, shape and sell CIO Agenda opportunities



+ Contribute to Thought Leadership




Act as the Market / Growth & Strategy Lead in supporting the development of the Security Services Practice





+ Support the practice leads in defining the sales and growth strategy, including selection of specific client accounts to target for market expansion opportunities



+ Develop market-leading sales collateral for building scale and awareness of Security Services offerings within AFS and the federal market



+ Understand and support the Security Services team in improving upon AFS competitive positioning to ensure we remain market leading and differentiated



+ Act as an non-technical SME working with clients and client teams to originate, shape and sell Security Services opportunities










Basic Qualifications:



+ Extensive knowledge of Federal IT marketplace.


+ Proven experience in solution selling and cyber/IT strategy development for clients, which may include the Federal Government or government contractors.


+ Successful track record of effective project management experience, including successful past performance implementing and managing IT strategy and/or go-to-market strategy projects.


+ Solid experience and past success in business development pursuits and pull through opportunities with clients.



Preferred Skills:



+ Excellent communication skills; should be able to prepare presentations, write proposals, and articulate our value proposition to our clients during sales calls and orals presentation.


+ Ability to present ideas in a concise manner to senior leadership and to prepare effective written materials.


+ Excellent critical thinking skills.















An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
