You Are:


AFS is seeking a Lead Technical Architect who is a passionate, hands-on expert with the AVEVA (OSIsoft) PI platform. You enjoy working closely with executives, program and product managers, and analysts to design and architect AVEVA PI solution implementations for enterprise scale transformations. In a delivery capacity, you will ensure effective solution design to meet business requirements in a variety of industry contexts. You have hands-on experience of multiple aspects of AVEVA PI, as outlined above. The Lead Technical Architect collaborates with internal and customer stakeholders and development teams to design and build solutions in AVEVA PI that support processes for continuous improvement and for reuse in other potential engagements.




The Work:

+ PI System Administer Has responsibility for running & maintaining support for a large enterprise deployment

+ Reporting and Analytics Business Analyst Works directly with engineers and operators to capture requirements for reports and analytics built on the PI System

+ Reporting and Analytics Developer Builds reports and analytics to requirements

+ OT Data Modeler Create a unified namespace consisting of hierarchical and templatized data models of OT data that are scalable across facilities

+ PI Software Developer Build custom applications that integrate with the PI System






Here Is What You Need:

+ Bachelors Degree or 10 years of equivalent industry experience

+ Experience with one or more of the following technologies: PI Process Book, PI Data Link, PI Vision, PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications, PI Data Archive, PI Interfaces, PI Asset Framework, SQL Server, AF SDK, C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell and/or SQL query language

+ Experience working with OT data (data structure, application, governance)

+ Experience with moving PI to enterprise scale for transformation and able to provide the pros and cons to the business






Bonus Points If:

+ Advanced Degree

+ 15+ years of industry experience

+ Certifications: AVEVA PI Accreditation, AWS/Azure cloud, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

+ Well versed in the strengths and gaps of PI when compared to other historians or data platforms

+ Provided superior group/team facilitation skills

+ Demonstrated experience managing the expectations of clients and building a reputation of trust

+ Solid understanding of sales and business development process

+ Strong organizational skills, with capability to work independently to plan, structure, organize and execute on technical program deliverables

+ Strong analytical and communication skills to enable positive external and internal communications in oral, presentation, and written form

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role


California: $141,800 - $230,100


Colorado: $141,800 - $198,800


New York City: $164,200 - $230,100


Washington: $151,100 - $211,800
