You are:


A talented Legal Strategic Programs and Operations Consultant to be part of a team delivering cross-functional initiatives in technology, data analysis & reporting, process improvement, and resource management. Reporting to the Strategic Programs and Operations Senior Manager, you have strong organizational skills, a collaborative work style, superior communications skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.





The work:


Execute initiatives to increase Legal operational efficiency and effectiveness. Examples include: workflow analysis, technology planning, design of dashboards & reports, matter management systems, benchmarking


Assist functional leads within the Legal function (e.g. Litigation, Employment Law) in their delivery of services across AFS


Support planning and execution of Legal team meetings, including agenda, content development, action tracking


Optimize Legal department SharePoint sites, portal presence


Coordinate communications for assigned initiatives, including team calls, agenda and materials to keep relevant stakeholders informed and engaged


Help manage the critical path, project dependencies, completion, milestone compliance and cost/budget of Legal department initiatives


Drive special projects


Support development and ongoing maintenance of key metrics and reports









Here's what you need:




+ Must be a US Citizen


+ Bachelors degree


+ 3 years experience in consulting or program management


+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)




Bonus points if you have:



+ Demonstrated ability to develop strong (visual) and concise deliverables


+ Self-motivated and ability to quickly pivot to changes in scope


+ Willingness to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced environment


+ Ability to establish and meet deadlines, work independently and accurately under pressure, and manage multiple projects and priorities


+ Very strong written and verbal communications skills


+ Comfortable translating complex data sets into meaningful insights and deliverables


+ Experience in developing, implementing, and enhancing business processes


+ Experience in implementing technology systems or tools






Important Information


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
