We are looking for a Network Engineer to assist in keeping all service and operational level agreements. The Network Engineer is responsible for the day to day support of all environments and optimization of the network infrastructure across the company. This person will work support tickets, make changes where necessary using the CR process and provide on site support when needed during special events. They will also need to drive to sites to provide hands on support for other operations team members during rollouts, equipment changes, etc. They will also participate in operational projects as well.

Basic Qualifications:

+ US Citizenship required

+ 3 years of experience in LAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) including centralized monitoring and management in large-scale, high-availability environments

+ 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking and information system security principles, practices and technologies

+ 2 years experience working with core Internet routing protocols and services (topology, OSPF, EIRGP, BGP)

+ 2 years experience working with Juniper SRX firewalls

+ 2 years experience working with F5 configuration and principles

+ 1 year experience working with Cisco ASA firewalls

+ 1 year experience working with Palo Alto firewalls

+ 6-12 months experience with Solarwinds monitoring platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with Federal NIST standards and Guidelines

+ Ability to develop strong professional relationships with fellow team members

+ Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to train junior technicians in network technologies.

+ Ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations for improvement.

+ Ability to quickly troubleshoot any network issues and provide sound solutions.

+ Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently in addition to providing deep technical skills in the Networking area

+ Previous work on US Federal engagements

This role requires US citizenship with no dual US citizenship accepted.

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
