The Operations Research Analyst will provide advanced analytical support to Accenture Federal Clients and apply rational, systematic, science-based techniques, and critical thinking. Provide interdisciplinary analytics expertise and skills to support and conduct descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive projects. Participate in a wide range of optimization and related modeling activities, including, but not limited to, model implementation and operations, model use documentation, and optimization and operations research capability.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Experience in developing and using operations research techniques such as mathematical optimization, decision analysis, discrete event simulation, probability models and statistical tests/design of experiments

+ Proficiency preferred with a mathematical programming language such as OPL, AMPL, or GAMS; mathematical programming with R or Python acceptable as well.

+ Experience with running problems through a leading commercial or open-source solver such as CPLEX, FICO or Gurobi.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Formulation of optimization problems

+ Proficiency modeling with a commercial discrete event simulation application such as Arena, Extend or Simio

+ Experience with Markov processes, Bayesian belief networks, Monte Carlo simulation or similar probabilistic and graph-based approaches

This role requires US Citizenship with no dual Citizenship accepted.

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
