At Accenture Federal Services, we work in a fast-paced environment bringing new technical capabilities to our Safety & Citizen Services clients and their missions. The candidate must be interested in tackling multi-faceted technical challenges with solutions to support our business development efforts and the background that demonstrates this ability. The candidate will support strategic solution sales pursuits, as well as larger deal capture activities by providing relevant written, presentation, and both internal and client-facing support to the Sales and BD team.





Wedge deals are smaller than traditional competitive deals and will be a core focus for the Solution Strategist. The Solution Strategist will provide support for qualifying and closing smaller deals that can grow into future larger-scale competitive deals or on-contract-growth opportunities. They will also support broader large deal capture by providing solution architecture, strategy, and response development support. Technical Sales will coordinate with Sales Strategy & Innovation (SS&I) teams on the accounts, driving a broad range of capture management support to include coordinating solution architects, thought-capital, deal shaping, pricing, PRC, and contracts.





Specific responsibilities include the following:

+ Create or adapt sales collateral relevant to wedge sales opportunities; this includes adapting general sales offerings to be most-relevant to their accounts

+ Coordinate with the SS&I team to respond to RFPs, serving as capture manager for wedge sales opportunities and technical author for competitive deals

+ Pipeline management of wedge sales, including identifying the corresponding future opportunity supported by the wedge sale

+ With guidance from the Client Account Leads, understand account power map and key client relationships

+ Participate in client sales call planning, preparation and meetings

+ Develop and maintain prime and sub teaming relationships






Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree is required

+ Experience and skills in the following domains: Solution Development (Technical, Management Consulting, etc) in support of Sales or Program Development strategies

+ Strong Written Communications in the form of white papers, proposal responses and client-facing presentations

+ Strong oral communications skills in the form of in-person and virtual presentations to internal groups and clients

+ Technical and Analytical experience in problem identification and solution design




Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

+ Experience supporting solution architecture or product or service sales across the Federal Government

+ Prefer experience with sales execution in the Federal client market










An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
