The Procurement Associate Manager is responsible for purchasing goods and services for AFS business teams, both direct and indirect, as well as managing the cradle-to-grave procurement process, including RFIs, RFQs, negotiations, PO creation, change orders, and closeouts.





Responsibilities include:


Source new requirements for multiple AFS business teams


Monitor and process assigned Costpoint Requisitions


Monitor and process PO Change Requests


Assist in resolving PO match exceptions, work with business teams to process match exceptions to keep invoice delays to a minimum


Provide support to Costpoint and PO Change Request users


Draft and process signature files for various agreements (NDAs, MSAs, Consulting Agreements, etc.)


Review and negotiate agreement terms with potential suppliers


Ensure compliance with AFS procurement policies


Continuously learn and improve procurement skills. Work to educate internal customers on business systems and processes


Develop and maintain vendor relationships

Basic Qualifications:




+ U.S. Citizenship required

+ Bachelor's degree

+ 4 years Procurement, Contract Management, or Subcontracts experience

+ Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint experience



Preferred Qualifications:




+ Ability to work independently


+ Procurement, Contract Management, or Subcontracts experience in a Federal Government contracting environment, especially a technology or management consulting space


+ CostPoint experience


+ Purchase acquisition experience with Hardware, Software, Cloud Services


+ Experience with conducting procurements with materials in a R&D environment


+ Experience/relationships with multiple, key vendors





An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
