The Program Management Specialist will be responsible for providing business support to an IT organization for its procurement approval and tracking application. The prospective applicant will be the face of the application to enterprise application users while reporting to a government manager in charge of the project/program. Activities include providing quality customer support; interfacing with the software development team for application maintenance and improvements; working with the Government Program Manager to plan and develop new requirements and business processes to improve overall customer experience; and building and maintaining relationships with enterprise organizations as usage of the application expands.



Specific job functions will include the following:

+ Perform Enterprise Customer Service responsibilities, including intaking customer requests for account access, training, and work flow development/maintenance as well as responding to customer requests in an efficient and professional manner.

+ Provide project management support to the software development team, including conducting regular staff calls, complete with production of an agenda, facilitating the meeting and developing meeting minutes.

+ Conduct requirements gathering for future application improvements and enhancements.

+ Conduct and track user training, including issuing training certificates and managing a user database and application mailing list.

+ Coordinate with the Analytics team to leverage increasing amounts of data to inform client management and investment decisions.

+ Support the Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCOE) capability with general administration and quality assurance support.







Basic Skills & Qualifications:



+ Bachelor's Degree (Business or IT related field preferred) or 4 years related experience


+ Minimum one year consulting experience with an IT or Finance organization


+ Minimum one year project management experience



Preferred Skills & Qualifications:




+ High energy, customer focused


+ Experience with the Microsoft Office suite


+ Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills


+ Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills


+ Desire to add value to the client and Accenture above and beyond the role


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
