The QA Specialist will transform software testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. This role will transform our clients from a testing environment primarily reliant on manual testing to a primarily automated test environment using Selenium. Our ideal QA Specialist will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Our ideal QA Specialist will use multiple means available (Automated testing via Selenium, manual testing) to ensure a system executes all of the functions (processes, commands, integrations, security, etc.) included in the software requirements and other specifications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Create the test/QA strategies and test approaches

+ Work with the projects architects, delivery and program managers to ensure consistency in estimating and understanding requirements

+ Define, develop and build reusable testing/QA assets. Evaluate testing/QA products and develop proofs of concepts for new, innovative solutions

+ Identify script candidates for test automation

+ Write automated test scripts using Selenium or future products

+ Execute and schedule automated test scripts

+ Monitor and analyze test automation execution results

+ Establish reusable test artifact components

+ General working knowledge on DevOps Tools such as Jenkins, Jira

+ Familiar with DevOps pipeline and Agile methodology, including Scaled Agile Framework

Basic Skills & Qualifications:

+ Must be a US Citizen

+ 1 year of Automated Testing experience

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree is highly desired but not required

+ Knowledge of Agile Software Development and Scaled Agile Framework

+ Experience performing in major federal agency

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
