understand who or what is connecting to the network and how to properly
implement security frameworks such as Access Control and Zero Trust.

The work:

Experienced Cyber Security Engineer for the design, plan, installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of enterprise systems management, infrastructure tools systems and related security software.

Works directly with customer, team and customer representatives to assist in the development and implementation of custom tailor Splunk dashboards.

Assist with Cloud and End point detection capabilitie and Splunk integration, architectural reviews and sustainment activities as directed by the Cyber Defense Engineering team lead.

Here's what you need:

+ Bachelors Degree

+ 5 years' experience in security operations concepts and implementation

+ Experience in incident response concepts and implementation

+ Experience in Cyber Intelligence concepts and implementation

+ Experience in cyber intrusion kill chain concepts and implementation

+ SANS Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) or Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

+ (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

+ 6 years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of one certification

Bonus points if you have:

+ Work within a Security Operations Center or similar Incident Response Environment

+ Degree in an IT related field

+ Tanium Experience

+ Host-based Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems

+ User-based analytics

+ Splunk ES and SIEM experience
