Accenture Federal Services is seeking a talented program operations manager to lead a team delivering cross-functional initiatives in technology, data analysis & reporting, process improvement, and resource management.

Our Legal team includes Legal, Government Relations, Contract Management, Governance & Policy, and the office of the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. Together we help AFS achieve high performance, operating effective systems of compliance and risk management, and creating a culture of trust and integrity where people are free to do their best work.

Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will have proven strategic planning skills, a collaborative workstyle, superior communications skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design and lead initiatives to increase Legal operational efficiency and effectiveness. Examples include: workflow analysis, technology planning, design of dashboards & reports, matter management systems, benchmarking

+ Lead or support Legal department strategic planning, change management, and annual budget processes

+ Partner with functional leads within the Legal function (e.g. Government Relations, Litigation, Employment Law) to improve/enhance the delivery of services across AFS

+ Support planning and execution of Legal team meetings, including agenda, content development, action tracking

+ Support analytics and reporting of outside counsel metrics

+ Lead or support analysis of Legal department training, continuing education, conferences, etc.

+ Oversee development and management of Legal department SharePoint sites, portal presence

+ Represent Legal as the point of contact for programs/initiatives within and outside team to ensure appropriate communication and effective relationships with stakeholder groups

+ Define and manage communications for assigned initiatives, including team calls, agenda and materials to keep relevant stakeholders informed and engaged

+ Manage the critical path, project dependencies, completion, milestone compliance and cost/budget of Legal department initiatives; develop mitigation plans and escalate critical issues

+ Performs special projects and responsibilities assigned by the General Counsel

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ 10 years of relevant experience in strategy/design thinking/complex program management roles to include:

+ Experience implementing technology systems or tools

+ Demonstrated understanding of how to develop, implement, and enhance business processes

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

+ Experience with legal department operations and technology

+ Familiarity with ServiceNow

+ An ownership mentality, exceptional follow-through skills, ability to problem-solve in ambiguous circumstances

+ Ability to establish and meet deadlines, work accurately under pressure, and manage multiple projects and priorities

+ Strong executive presence; ability to lead/facilitate large group discussions

+ A high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively interact across teams

+ Demonstrated ability to develop strong (visual) and concise deliverables

Important Information

This role requires US Citizenship

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
