You are:
The Web Designer will be part of an Accenture team supporting a government client. You will use your skills to deliver an innovative knowledge base and collaborative workspace solution utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST calls to facilitate and automate better business processes and knowledge management. You should be driven by curiosity, exploring techniques to provide an enhanced user experience for our customer. This role requires an extensive amount of self-initiative and the ability to work independently. You will collaborate directly with the client and functional lead.
The work:
Lead workshops and document the optimal site design(s) for customers document-sharing requirements
Promote user adoption through user and site manager training, consultation, and support of existing functionality
Design and develop customizations to the existing site
Provide support and guidance to users on site features and functionalities
Develop solutions for business process automation
Translate wireframes and design mocks into web-based prototypes
Here's what you need:
+ Bachelors degree or comparable years of experience.
+ Experience supporting a
government customer
+ Proficient with one or more
web scripting language
The extras:
US citizenship required, dual citizens not eligible
Bonus points if you have:
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
SharePoint Designer and Workflow experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Excellent business acumen
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Proven track record of strong communication and collaboration skills (oral and written; good briefing skills)
