In this role, you will be part of our senior leadership team driving growth for Accenture Distribution & Marketing Services in North America and expected to work seamlessly within Accenture and with our clients to shape and implement a Customer Experience solution that addresses our clients business needs.

Drive development and evolution of Interaction Design (IxD) with a focus on quality, practice, and
offerings that meet business and user goals as well as create new offerings within Accenture.

Oversees quality of design solutions as they relate to Interaction Design. Demonstrates Accenture
values through words and actions.

Self-identify career goals.
Elevate and strengthen Interaction Design as a discipline and a practice.
Consult with and advise senior clients to help frame the challenge at hand, encourage broad thinking and establish orientation towards quality of experience.
Lead design points of view, proposal creation, and relationship management across 1-2 key clients.
Collaborate with Group Design Director (where applicable) to drive, and sometimes lead,
Accenture design initiatives (offerings, capabilities) within the studio.

Own Interaction Design craft and capability output across key projects, ensuring each project deliverable is of the highest quality.
Uncover opportunities to apply design thinking and interaction design to solve challenges for key accounts.
Explain, discuss and justify design decisions eloquently. Give effective feedback and direction to other team members.
Drive quality of Interaction Design craft across multiple projects: push the quality of the work beyond the status quo by establishing a culture of cutting-edge practices in the field of Interaction Design.
Educate designers and peers on new approaches to Interaction Design in novel and nascent design spaces (AR/VR/Voice).
Ensure that the Interaction Design practice stays at the cutting-edge by expanding the toolkits of Interaction Design team members to account for new tools, methods, or processes.

Provide individual and team-level coaching and feedback as it relates to Interaction Design.
Assess performance and provide career guidance and decisions for members of the studio design team.
Contribute to studio hiring strategy. Lead and give feedback in interviews for prospective candidates.

Contribute a strong point-of-view across projects to push the boundaries of traditional Interaction Design work.
Guide the design studio toward using the most appropriate Interaction Design methods and practices.
Oversee Interaction Design quality and outcomes across multiple projects.

Support pitch decks and project approaches that lead to exciting, inspiring, and well shaped work for our design team.
Present Accentures Interaction Design offerings to potential clients.

High dexterity in speed and quality with the tools of your trade.
Knowledge of and curiosity about technology and its impact on design solutions.
Extensive knowledge of and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams.
Mastery of Interaction Design and Product Design, proficiency in Design Research and Business Design, and familiarity with Service Design.
Proven history managing cross-functional teams to create a powerful, effective and coherent design solution.
Excellent leadership skills, problem resolution abilities, and good judgment.
