As part of this team, youll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. Youll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

Accentures Industry X practice, part of Accenture Strategy & Consulting, has been tasked with growing its business by more than 3x until 2025. Our marketing engine is set to support that growth with two clear objectives. 1) Position Accenture as the #1 go-to partner for changing both how companies make things, and the very things they make, and, 2) enable growth by generating enough awareness, interest, and demand to support that 27% growth target over the next four years.



As head of Content, we are looking for a stellar contributor to get us organized and continue driving our world leading conversation, ground-breaking research, engaging articles and leader led social for this highly critical (and exciting) area of the business.



The role:
The Industry X Global Content lead works with the Industry X marketing business leads and the broader cross Accenture team to create, share and maintain a successful content strategy, and leads the implementation of content programs that drive Accentures Industry X business forward.



He/she oversees all Industry X related content initiatives and ensures that they help create both awareness of and preference for Industry X and Accentures Industry X services.



This pivotal role is the true interlock between marketing, media relations and sales enablement within the Industry X global practice and the wider Industry X network within Accenture.



Working closely with the Industry X business marketing leads in Digital Manufacturing and Operations and Intelligent Products and Platforms (the two business units within Industry X) as well as the regional marketing and media relations leads across the priority geographies USA, UK, ASG, Gallia, China and Japanthe Global Content Lead pursues the key objectives of maximizing the value content brings to both Accentures clients and prospects: Creating a market for Industry X offerings, increasing consideration, lead flow and pipeline, and reducing sales cycle length while improving win ratesall by building an audience for the Industry X practice.



We need you to build the winning content machine that drives multi-level content through all major channels. Managing multiple stakeholders will be key, and clear regular leadership communication around content progression and pipeline will be essential.



We also are looking to you to drive our most iconic and pivotal research-based contentanticipating and shaping differentiated, white space global research and content development around offerings and C-suite challenges. These influential pieces will be shaped with Accentures most senior leaders and working with our world class research teams help Industry X influence on a global stage.
Success:
Candidates for the role should see themselves as data-savvy editors, who can create a worthwhile content offering for Accentures Industry X target audiences. They will need to have the ability to develop an understanding of clients and prospects interests and preferences, as well as a thorough understanding of Accentures Industry X offerings.



He/she will also be able to leverage both to build a comprehensive content strategy and cross-channel content and editorial plan, set-up and manage a content budget, and curate, create and distribute content in ways, which best support the Industry X marketing effort.



Success in managing content marketing for Industry X will also require a robust knowledge of content marketing and content analytics technology and best practices, since they are key to improve set-up, effectiveness, and efficiency of all Industry X content initiatives, as well as the ability to work across a number of Accentures corporate functions and teams

+ Develop thought-provoking content, and position Accenture in the market through a variety of channels including social, digital marketing, media and events to win market share



+ Drive the conversation by educating and empowering our 10,000+ Industry X team globally with the tools they need to sustain and drive great conversations with our clients



+ Be ready to showcase the success of your marketing programs through powerful metrics, and share your leading practices with others

Reports to: Global Head of Marketing for Industry X
Supervises: Content Manager (Germany)
External Relationships: Writers, agencies, publishing houses
Internal Relationships: Industry X Business Leadership
Work Requirements: Minimal travel





YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications





+ A Bachelor's degree or equivalent



+ Minimum of 15 years corporate marketing experience designing and implementing strategic marketing programs





SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Qualifications:





+ Masters degree in marketing or MBA



+ Sales experience



+ Superior writing and storytelling skills



+ Knowledge from working in technology, product, engineering or manufacturing industries.



+ Must have worked on global client-facing, campaign-driven, content-based marketing programs



+ Strong understanding of business content and how to apply to business issues and problems



+ Excellent writing, editorial and creative skills



+ Digitally savvy for social and web page content



+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priority projects simultaneously



+ Experience of supervising support staff and contractors



+ Excellent oral and written communications skills

+ Able to demonstrate strong project management capability, organizational skills and attention to detail



+ Able to demonstrate senior stakeholder management capability



+ Ability to manage and build relationships, negotiate and influence colleagues within matrixed organizations
