The Work


The Technology Support Specialist supports the Infrastructure Operations team in Accenture Labs. This role supports the roll-out and maintenance of Labs IT needed to conduct R&D activities including developing and supporting technology on both Cloud and On-Prem. This role will be managing technology procurement and asset inventory. This role also provides technical support during Labs visits and maintains tools in support of this. The ideal candidate should have a foundational background in Cloud, DevOps and security. Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

+ Ensuring software/application availability for end users

+ Providing outage resolution support and facilitating restoration of service to the production environment through investigating the cause of the outage and organizing calls/resources needed to restore service

+ Creating disaster recovery plans and establishing disaster recovery procedures to ensure recovery capability

+ Monitoring systems and trends to prevent occurrence of incidents






For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here's What You Need:

+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software engineering or related field

+ 3+ years of experience managing IT operations and IT support

+ 3+ years of DevOps experience

+ 2+ years of Security Related Experience:

+ Windows:

+ Event log analysis

+ Patching/Security: SCCM, AD/Group Policy,

+ Monitoring: Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds

+ Linux:

+ Log Server: Rsyslog, Splunk

+ Systems Security Configuration: Git, Puppet, Chef

+ IDS: AIDE, Fail2Ban

+ Systems/Security Tools: Solar Winds, Nagios, Zabbix, Tcpdump, Wireshark, NMAP

+ 1+ years of experience in Systems Administration

+ Advanced time management, organizational, prioritization and communication skills






Bonus points if you have:

+ Worked with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack or Terraform

+ Experience working with Containers using Docker, Kubernetes, or other OCI (Open Containers Initiative) compliant runtimes,

+ Experience with Shell scripting or Python

+ Experience working with CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) tools such as Jenkins or Spinnaker

+ Experience providing technical guidance and educating team members

+ Systems and Network Administration

+ Windows Server

+ Linux (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.)

+ On-Prem Virtualization: Cisco UCS, NetApp, VMWare Hypervisor

+ Cloud: Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google, etc.

+ Backup/Storage

+ Assisting with Global iOPS security Vulnerabilities and Compliance issues

+ Assisting with Labs Client Data Protection (CDP) Plans







As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $56,484 to $112,600 and information on benefits offered is here.
