The National Billing Team performs billing and collection of premiums for national account cases. Typically assigned large sized accounts of high complexity, and difficult in nature. The National Billing Analyst will plan, organizes and provide one or more customer service functions for investors, policyholders, field and or home office staff, to support Group Insurance project. Responsible for billing functions for a region, distribution channel or product. The team ensure the volume of work produced meets product service standards and exceeds quality standards supporting the other team analysts. Able to support a issue resolution process and ensures complaints are handled effectively, policy disclosure, replacement, agent compensation and claim handling.

Key Responsibilities:
Support Receivable and Suspense Management over an assigned Book of Business consisting of Mid-level or Complex Customers. Responsible to code regular entries for distribution to accounts, audits disbursements, vouchers, debit and credit memos, etc.
Accountable for the resolution of Billing Related Customer issues through coordinated efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
Can support special internal functional projects and ad-hoc requests as required.
Able to work cohesively with Subject Matter experts to support the national billing day to day tasks, able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues/problems.
Able to communicate risks & issues to supervisor and help with the resolution, as needed
May performs incident notification and escalation to ensure problems/requests/issues are communicated effectively and receive proper management attention
Able to understand root causes for customer dissatisfaction and recommend solutions to improve overall customer satisfaction
Expected to adhere to client Service Level Agreements and department's/product's key performance requirements and any reporting
Able to utilize strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities while working under tight time constraints, possesses ability to work through ambiguity, and work effectively with various vendors with strong interpersonal skills



Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years experience skilled in Insurance/Medical Billing, AR Reconciliation or Suspense management
Minimum of 2 years experience in Direct Customer Service (Issue Resolution, Client Interaction, Helpdesk, etc)
Minimum of 1 years experience in Excel Reporting (Reconciling, Pivots, VLookups)
Preferred Qualifications:
Finance or Accounting Degree
Prior experience in an accounting environment preferably Billing/General Ledgers
Knowledge of financial devices and the impact on Group Insurances financial results
Strong written and verbal communication skills
