The Lead Oracle Database Administrator provides technical and operational support for the operation and maintenance of the on-premise Oracle databases. This role is responsible for providing expert database support on the planning and implementation of all required preventative and reactive database maintenance activities, including the physical installation and performance management services for the database software; installing new database versions, patches, and hot fixes; maintaining and insuring database security compliance; and setting and tuning system parameters.
**Responsibilities** **include:**
+ Install and manage all other components which interface to include identity management and related web services
+ Tune the operating system, network and transaction processes to work with the ServiceNow system
+ Recommend appropriate storage for a ServiceNow application
+ Scan, patch, remediate, and document security vulnerabilities in all databases and related ServiceNow components
+ Support the interface w/any other technologies required by CISO
+ Support the development and integration of a Cross Domain Solution (CDS)
**Here's what you need:**
+ 10+ years database administrator
+ 8+ years Oracle database design experience
**Bonus points if you have:**
+ Bachelor's degree or higher
+ Oracle database design experience including: capacity planning, configuration, migration, performance monitoring, tuning, security, data recovery, trouble shooting
+ Security + certification or other level two DOD 8140 compliant certification
+ General knowledge of ITIL and use of MS Project
+ General knowledge in virtualization and networking
+ Oracle DB certification (Oracle Certified Master) version 12 or above
**Security Clearance:**
+ An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start

California: $122,600 - $234,900
Colorado: $122,600 - $202,900
New York: $113,500 - $234,900
