One of the key pillars of Life Sciences is product launch helping pharma, biopharma, biotech, and med device companies prepare for and launch their most important assets. We focus on working with clients to develop their launch strategy through competitive analysis and scenario planning, bring a customer-centric view to launch planning, development novel economics for new launch, and prepare companies for launch readiness and operational excellence to achieve success with their products.

You Are:

A Life Sciences Product Launch guru with years of experience in the Life Sciences industry focused on preparing for and executing on product launches. Your expertise? Advising clients in the Life Sciences industry on data-driven strategies to strategically position their products for a successful launch into the marketplace. Furthermore, you will bring expertise to our clients to help them operationally execute their launch plans, with a focus on bringing together the cross-functional elements that are critical to a successful launch. Lastly, you have therapeutic expertise across one or more therapeutic areas (TAs) and are passionate about learning about new science.

The Work:

+ Advise clients on various aspects of launch including but not limited to: launch strategy development, competitive analysis and scenario planning, market entry assessment, customer experience-driven launch, economic model development, launch readiness planning, launch operations planning

+ Head up teams to deliver launch strategy, readiness, and operations to Life Sciences clients

+ Partner with client Senior Leadership to help successfully manage pre-launch and launch activities Develop launch-specific assets, including whitepapers, POVs, and thought capital pieces for publication

+ Bring therapeutic area expertise to launch projects

+ Lead project delivery to make sure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical road maps for carrying out strategy, managing change, monitoring and gauging processes, and taking remedial steps

+ Provide overall guidance on quantitative analysis and research to generate recommendations and insights and drive outcomes

+ Build relationships with clients to sustain Accentures profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner

+ Develop the next generation of launch practitioners at Accenture, including building skillsets and capabilities

Heres What You Need:

+ Minimum 5 years pharma / life sciences experience and expertise, specifically focused in commercial

+ Minimum 1-2+ years' experience leading or supporting launch of a pharma / biopharma / biotech asset

+ Deep understanding of the pharma asset lifecycle and launch process / fundamentals

+ Therapeutic area / brand area expertise preferable, but not required (e.g. oncology, immunology, vaccines, etc.)

+ Global experience preferable but not required

+ Deep cross-functional LS knowledge (across commercial marketing, market access, health economics and outcomes research, manufacturing, market research) highly preferable

Bonus Points if:

+ Deep expertise in one or more therapeutic areas

+ Experience with digital-enabled or digital-only launches

Travel Update: Racking up those air miles will have to wait, as weekly non-essential travel to client sites Monday through Thursday is currently suspended. For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.
