Looking for
an enthusiastic Technology Innovation Manager to join the Accenture Atlanta
Liquid Studio and to work with clients on turning ideas into reality in record
time, using cutting edge technologies and methods. As a
highly-skilled professional in this role, you will be responsible for managing
multiple cross-functional development programs while working closely with a
team of technical architects, engineers, product managers, and business teams
to lead them towards a product launch.

Responsibilities:





The Technology Innovation Manager
role involves the use of rapid & agile development principles on
lightweight, event-driven and microservice-based architectures; and
technologies that transform customer experiences and client operations. The
successful candidate combines technical knowledge in two or more of our focus
areas to be an effective mentor and manager of more junior people, while
delivering on client commitments, managing budgets and timeline, as well as
establishing herself/himself as a thought leader in the innovation space.

Direct responsibilities include:





+ Act as the Delivery Lead on projects focused
on co-creation with Accentures clients & partners.


+ Be an effective leader and coach to a
team of 3 to 9 people.


+ Participate in the development of our
innovation assets, accelerators, and solutions, from prototyping new
functionality and technologies to integrating them in our overall products and
offerings.


+ Provide project management and development
guidance. Report effectively to Liquid Studio leadership, manage budgets,
timelines and stakeholder relationships.


+ Be ready to pivot at any time, acting
as an established, knowledgeable resource on Agile methodology, and enforcing
project standards.


+ Be accountable to deliver quality
outcomes to clients and partners.


+ Act as a solution architect using
modern technology principles, frameworks, and tools.


+ Estimate work effort and costs
effectively and accurately.


+ Strive to push the boundaries of
technology solutions with experimentation, prototyping, creative thinking and
technology ecosystem engagement.


+ Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of
systems architecture. Bring insight into new projects around dependencies /
potential issues, influence the design of projects, and rapidly identifies and
resolves technical dependencies and risks.


+ Be extremely eager to learn/develop
coding skills (up to ninja level) at work and in your free time









Basic Qualifications:





+ Minimum 7 years software industry
experience.


+ Minimum 5 years experience - Technical
Program Management experience running complex programs in fast-paced
environments using Agile methodologies and delivering highly scalable and
robust systems.


+ College degree in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering or related technical discipline


+ Experience managing technical teams of
about 10 people, who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and influence
partner teams and cross-functional teams, such as product management, technical
program management, development teams and senior business leaders.


+ Experience in Agile development
methodologies, understanding of software development in large teams, and a
track record of shipping software on time; experience in managing budgets. Agile
certification preferred.


+ Results oriented - demonstrated
ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate
outcomes.


+ Solid foundation in data modeling,
data structures, and algorithms


+ Excellent problem solving and
analytical skills


+ Self-motivated, proactive and proven
ability to adapt well and work with different teams within organization; attention
to detail and accuracy.


+ Ability to operate as an individual
contributor to get the job done; at the same time, can guide a team toward an
objective.


+ Documented product management
experience and the ability to provide architectural guidance and direction
throughout the project lifecycle.


+ Excellent communication skills both
oral and written; creative, outgoing, and professional demeanor.


+ Desire to make a difference engage
with Tech for Good-type of initiatives








Preferred Technical Skills:





+ Experienced
in Domain Driven Design, Behavioral Driven Development, Test Driven Design


+ Interest in languages like Typescript,
Go, Python, Erlang


+ Working experience in one or more of
the main cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure


+ Hands-on experience with one or more
IoT platforms; such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, etc.


+ Coding serverless: AWS Lambda, Azure
Functions, Cloud Functions, Serverless framework


+ Using containers: Docker, Kubernetes,
EKS, AKS, GKE


+ Databases: RDBMS / NoSQL / Cloud
Native (e.g. DynamoDB)


+ Extended DevOps Ecosystem:
Artifactory, Nexus, Terraform, Ansible, ELK Stack, GitHub, BitBucket


+ Event Hub technologies (Kafka,
Kinesis)
