Job Functions







Perform both static and dynamic analysis of malware samples targeted at multiple operating systems and processor architectures.



Provide relevant indicators of compromise, malware classification and supporting intelligence in support of active incident response engagements.



Discover exploitable vulnerabilities in malware or malicious communication streams.



Produce quality oral and written reports, presenting complex technical matters clearly and concisely.



Form and articulate expert opinions based on findings.



Maintain proficiency with industry standard tools and practices.



Maintain a high level of professionalism in all areas of performance.



Develop and broaden skill set through outside training and research.



On-site, client travel may be required for this position.













Required Skills







Deep technical knowledge of methods utilized in malware research, analysis and reverse engineering.



Expert knowledge of multiple processor architectures and assembly code.



Strong experience with IDA Pro, OllyDbg, other disassemblers/debuggers.



Exploit development.



Strong knowledge of incident response, forensics and investigations processes.



Detailed knowledge of Windows & UNIX based Operating systems.



Mobile architecture analysis.



IP Protocols and Protocol analysis.



Deep knowledge of modern IT security controls such as authentication and identity management, security enhanced network architectures and application based controls, as well as cryptography and cryptographic analysis.



The ability to be methodical, well organized and detail orientated about all aspects of work.



Excellent Project Management, writing & communication Skills.



Well-developed analytic, qualitative, and quantitative reasoning skills.







Education Required






Bachelor's Degree or relevant investigative experience.







Preferred Skills and Education:






GREM GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware.
