You are:

An architect, pure and simple. You have a knack for design and can code that vision into life. You are a big-picture thinker. You see all the moving parts. Rather than get lost in the details, you bring them all together. People come to you to solve problems.


The work:

Come up with a technology strategy for the areas of:

o Digital manufacturing

o Sales, as well as the aftermarket of parts and accessories

o Industrial consumerism businesses now have the same expectations as consumers Map out a plan for putting new processes and solutions into place at clients manufacturing operations

Write the code for the bridge that will connect the shop floors operating technologies with the back-office IT systems

Stay plugged into industry and client research to analyze the information, identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Design, develop and put into place new operating models, including:

o Creating a vision and strategy for the clients business

o Coming up with new business processes

o Looking at how the clients organization and its governance are structured

o Using industry-leading tools and templates

o Setting up metrics to measure performance Help clients manage the change at their company, by writing communications, training materials and job descriptions that help explain the changes

Share your knowledge of manufacturing operations

Work with teammates located in different offices, in different parts of the world to stay focused on delivering the project outcome to the client

Support team efforts to come up with new solutions for new client opportunities

Contribute to the growth of the Products Industry X.0 Practice by helping other Accenture managers write with new business proposals and presentations

Participate in recruiting activities and informal coaching and mentoring to junior consultants

Be ready to rack up those air miles with weekly travel to client sites



Heres what you need:

At least 5 years of consulting experience in one of these industries:

o Manufacturing

o Automotive

o Industrial Equipment

o Oil and Gas

o Aerospace and Defense At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect

At least 2 years of experience working with one or more of these technologies:

o Cloudera

o Amazon Web Services

o Hortonworks

o Microsoft Azure

o IBM Bluemix

o Google Cloud Platform Bachelors degree in Engineering


Bonus point is you:

Earned a Masters degree in any subject that inspires you

Are familiar with network connectivity protocols and systems such as industrial controllers and micro controllers

Have already experienced the leading-edge results of Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing

Are a left brain/right brain thinker, able to solve problems creatively and analytically

Enjoy working in a large team with individual actions all working together toward a common goal

Are just as comfortable talking with your teammates as you are putting on your headphones and silently coding

Have a led a project or team at school, at work or in the military
