Corporate Functions Marketing & Communications

As part of this team, youll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. Youll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

YOUR ROLE: Marketing & Communications Associate Manager - Southwest North America
The Marketing & Communications Associate Manager - Southwest North America will support a cross-functional Marketing & Communications team to execute and deliver marketing campaigns, events and communications that differentiate the Accenture Austin business. Overall, the position reports to the Associate Director, Marketing & Communications Southwest North America and will work closely with the Austin Office Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Support local image and prominence programs for the Austin office including award applications and civic engagements.
Support local client engagement marketing in the Austin office with an emphasis on events.
Support all-office communications and maintain a monthly marketing calendar of events and programs in Austin.
Support local office employee engagement programs and recruitment marketing events as needed.
Assist in the design, execution and maintenance of the Austin office websites and local environmental branding.
Support executive communications and social media for the Austin office managing director, including social media handles.
Assist in managing the technology for team meetings, i.e., Broadcast Studio, Telepresence Rooms.
Reports to: Associate Director, M+C - Southwest North America.
Works with Office Managing Director for Austin.
Collaborates with: Other resident M+C professionals, with strong exchange and teamwork with professionals in the Southwest. Also collaborates closely with the Austin Local Market Lead (LML) as well as Accenture brand, real estate and government relations teams.
External Relationships: Third party vendors, suppliers and agencies.
Community Relationships: Business, innovation and technology leadership groups including chambers, professional associations, eco-system partners. Local university relationships.

Bachelors degree.
Degree Type/Major: Marketing, Communication or Business degree.
YOUR EXPERIENCE: 5+ years marketing and communications. Preferred: Professional services experience.
Strong Critical Thinking, Analytical and Problem Solving Skills.
Excellent project management skills and should be a self-starter.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
Ability to communicate with senior business executives.
High energy.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues.
Superior oral and written communications skills and presentation skills.
Ability to work autonomously and independently while integrating appropriately with other areas within M+C and other areas within Accenture.
Strong project management and budget management skills.
